I saw an entertaining page linked on How to Avoid the Bummer Life today. It's a collection of Garfield comics with Garfield removed. Appropriately titled "Garfield minus Garfield," it is described by the website's creator as follows:

"Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life?"
